SilverFit Acquires German Company RetroBrain

As of September 1st 2024, SilverFit has officially acquired German company RetroBrain R&D. This has expanded the SilverFit team by 10 experienced sales and development colleagues. This acquisition expands the German customer portfolio by more than 200 customers within elderly care. It also fits in with SilverFit's vision to strengthen its share of the German market and introduce more care institutions to our interactive exercise systems. SilverFit's mission is to use its products to enable the German care sector to keep users independent and both socially and physically active.

RetroBrain is a young company that has been developing preventive and therapeutic video games for seniors since 2014. In 2015, RetroBrain was named "a benchmark in the therapeutic gamification industry" at the LIFT Basel Conference (Connecting innovators in Life Sciences and Information Technologies) for their flagship product Memore. The Memore is an extremely user-friendly and is used daily in residential care homes. 

Our new colleagues visited SilverFit in the Netherlands for the first time in late August. In recent weeks, RetroBrain customers have also been informed of this new partnership. 

Retrobrain has an impressive track record. SilverFit is therefore thrilled to take RetroBrain under its wing and expand its product offering for the German market. Stay tuned for more news from SilverFit as we open this new chapter together!
